• The Toms River Market has a great variety of farmers and vendors. There are 5 farmers, including one organic farmer. There is a hugh selection of Jersey Fresh produce. All the vendors sell only food products, so the market is not cluttered with craft vendors like at other markets. The vendors sell products including cheeses, baked goods, olives, oils, apple sauce, honey, frozen pasta, and vegan meals. I look forward to shopping there every Wednesday.
• The produce is so fresh, picked that morning. They also offer other products that you cannot get at any super market. Also fresh flowers and garden plants. I love it!
• The market is located in downtown Toms River at Huddy Park along with waterfront. Local farms participate in brining their delicious products to us instead of us traveling to their farms!!! There is such a variety of farmers/vendors that is is walking distance from the County Seat and downtown, with a spectacular view and vibe!!!
• Our Farmers Market has a great variety of Jersey Fresh fruits and vegetables in season, in addition to homemade breads and other goodies. It is a pleasure to visit in the park. It is so important to support the local growers. Fresher food, uses less energy to transport, and supports the local economy.
