TOMS RIVER, NJ, Nov 27– Holiday Fun is the focus of Downtown Toms River’s December 7th Christmas Tree Lighting from 5 p.m. to  8:30 p.m.

The Christmas Tree Lighting Festivities begin around the Christmas Tree at Town Hall Courtyard with your favorite Holiday songs by the Ron & Bill Show.  Downtown Toms River will be filled with excitement.  Holiday characters will be greeting everyone with candy canes.  For the kids an Elf Balloonist will create fun animals.     

On the main stage in Mancini Hall, Ocean County Library, Toms River at 6:00  pm, The Sandy Sasso Swinging Big Band will perform a Holiday Concert.  The Toms River Fire Co. #1 will arrive with Santa at 7:00 for the Tree lighting.  Fire Co. #1 will have Photos with Santa at Town Hall.   Fire Co. #1 will provide hot chocolate and cookies for purchase.  Horse and Buggy rides will be available  on Washington Street in front of the Library.   Visitors are sure to enjoy the many activities abounding at this evening’s event.  Event sponsor WJRZ  will be on hand also adding to the evening’s fun activities.  All downtown parking is free after 5 p.m. compliments of The Toms River Township Parking Authority.
