The Toms River High School South Theatre Guild will perform Oklahoma! at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 4 and 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 5 and 6 in the high school cafetorium. All tickets are $5.
Oh, what a beautiful evening will be coming to Toms River High School South
with the opening of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s memorable musical Oklahoma!
The first of nine hits by this world-famous duo, Oklahoma! revolves around the
love story of cowboy Curly Mc Lain and the adorable farm girl, Laurey Williams.
The musical features such noteworthy numbers as Oh, What a Beautiful Morning,
Surrey with the Fringe on Top, People Will Say We’re in Love
and The Dream Ballet.
This musical entertainment stars Anthony Nardino as the charming Curly Mc Lane
and Brittney Thieme as the romantic Laurey Williams. The production also features
Stephanie Chelston as the flirtatious Ado Annie, and Kevin Bench as the lovable
Will Parker. Marc Mc Kennan appears as the threatening Jud Fry. Nick Falzone
and Kaitlin De Roo provide comedic delight as Ali Hakim and Aunt Eller. Rounding
out the cast are Jillian Driscoll as Gertie, Ryan Chelston as Andrew Carnes
and Adam De Mey and Joanna Lee Seremba as Ike and Ida Skidmore. The curtain
will rise at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 4 and again at 8 p.m. on Friday March
5 and Saturday March 6. All tickets are $5.
